Ladies Lotto is a finely-cultivated international lifestyle and networking community aimed at developing the professional and personal success of independent women. As a collective, Ladies Lotto shifts the paradigm in the way women work together creatively to build strategies of allegiance and growth. Activated through culturally relevant projects and positive social impact campaigns, Ladies Lotto participates in the creation of emerging cultures and communities – all while engaging relevant social beneficiaries. With chapters in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, and members hailing from Sydney to Paris, Ladies Lotto is a more than just a community but a cultural force.

Operating under a simple yet revolutionary vision of promoting alliance amongst intelligent women, Ladies Lotto, born with a simple email from Founder Natalie Blacker to 25 women, has been enhancing relationships to help a predominantly creative set become centered and whole. Ladies Lotto’s ongoing motivation, point blank, is to shake up how women do business. Since its inception in 2006, the group has put together over 200 events and panels with emerging, trendsetting brands to international giants like LVMH. In addition, the collective has fervently benefitted women directly through collaborations with non-profit organizations like Planned Parenthood and charity:water.

Driven by an overwhelming emphasis on relationships within the network, Ladies Lotto is a truly revolutionary and unique concept that continues to set a new global standard for how women organize and uplift their lives. The individuals who join Ladies Lotto are not textbook social climbers – membership consists of the finest, open-minded and socially-savvy trailblazers within their respective industries.

Existing to facilitate a nurturing collective where members help one another in their efforts to advance, Ladies Lotto fosters entrepreneurial enterprise while building extensive cultural and art related public projects. From a broader perspective, the collective engrains its members with a sustainable perspective which acts as a positive force not only in their careers but in their overall lives.

Founder Natalie Blacker’s future plans for Ladies Lotto include expanding the overall brand and its network into new major markets, as well as the development of a grant foundation to further its members, an annual conference of member-driven lectures and forums, and collective productions in both music and print media.

 

About The Founder

Natalie Blacker’s lifetime fascination with subculture has always been inseparable from her innate desire to work towards the greater common good. Reared in Southern California’s skate, punk and riot grrrl communities, Blacker has been a “go-to” consultant on fashion, music, media and their myriad of subtleties since her teenage years.

An avid passion for sustainability and modern feminist thought led her to embark on a lifetime career of putting theory into practice after graduating from The Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern California in 2001.  Blacker began her professional life in a support role that encompassed communications, editorial research and event production for Arianna Huffington before expanding into public relations and design with Girl Press (the premier publisher of young feminist materials in the late 1990s). Equally driven by her fascination with popular culture, Blacker moved to New York City in 2002, where she ran cultural events, worked as a fashion buyer and oversaw the business development of several notable niche publications – including Anthem, MissBehave , Shepard Fairey’s SWINDLE and fashion magazine, NYLON.  This combined effort, along with her innovative perspective, ultimately led her to found her own sales, marketing and public relations agency, The Consummate, in 2004.

In 2006, she founded the innovative and rapidly expanding women’s professional network,  Ladies Lotto. Grounded in the idea that by working together, women can accomplish all of their personal and professional goals, Ladies Lotto continues to build an international women’s foundation of support and resource sharing. Beyond continuing to act as Ladies Lotto’s Founder/Director, Blacker most recently earned her Masters in Media Studies at The New School for Social Research in 2008, is a registered Integral Yoga teacher and recently works as the Director of New Business for the creative agency Studio Number One.
